UNDER PERPETUAL CONSTRUCTION …

 Damianos Chatziantoniou

Assistant Professor at Department of Management Sciences and Technology,

Athens University of Economics and Business.

Prior to AUEB I was a faculty member of the CS Dept. of Stevens Institute of Tech.

I got my Ph.D. and M.Phil. from the CS Dept. of Columbia University (in databases – of course!)

M.Sc. from the Courant Institute of Mathematical SciencesNew York University and

B.Sc in Math from the Math Dept. of University of Athens.

My research interests involve: OLAP, data warehousing, data streams, decision support

(mainly expressing/evaluating complex ad hoc queries) and query processing.

Furthermore, I am very interested into entrepreneurial-related stuff: I have been involved in

a couple of technology start-up companies, one based in New York (Panakea Software Inc.,

OLAP tools & consulting, founder) and one based in Athens (VoiceWeb, speech & telecom

applications, co-founder) and recently I spent few months at Aster Data Systems, in SF.
